A video statement attributed to Zabihullah Mujahid (also spelled Zabiullah Mujahid), the spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, said that Pakistani forces conducted two airstrikes late last night in Kandahar province. The targets were described as a wall and an old container at a drug rehabilitation center in the area. Mujahid reported that no casualties resulted from the strikes and characterized the action as a hostile act, adding that Afghan authorities would respond accordingly. The report cites a video statement released by Tabasum Radio in Kandahar and was reported by Afghan Times.
