Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif spoke by telephone with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of the Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces of Pakistan, to extend Eid-ul-Fitr greetings. The ISPR reported that the Prime Minister also lauded the soldiers and officers who continue to serve on the country’s borders, often away from their families during Eid. The conversation underscored gratitude for their sacrifices, reaffirmed civilian–military unity, and emphasized the government’s continued support for the armed forces as they safeguard the nation.
