Local authorities in Kunar Province, Afghanistan, report that more than 270 cross-border missiles and artillery shells were fired from Pakistan into several districts over the past 48 hours. Ziaurrahman Spin Ghar, the director of information at the Kunar Department of Information and Culture, said the strikes affected multiple areas across the province and that some casualties have been reported. Investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of the damage, and officials from Pakistan have not yet responded to the claims.
